Yes the frames are designed to flex a lot. that is why 3 of the cab bolts have long springs under the nut so the cab can lift off the frame when twisting off road. the purpose of this is so you keep all 4 wheel on the ground as much as possible but have heavy springs to carry big loads. medium duty and heavy duty trucks are still designed this way. modern light duty truck have an opposite design with a rigid frame and weaker suspension to allow articulation.
