People don't know how or care about this stuff anyhow
I know people that at so refined they could not find an oil drain plug if their life depended on it. They don't even know what a PTO is. I think that is a good thing and is ok. But that does not mean there are not still many of us that are at home on an old Johnny Popper or a Ford 8N. They built 4000 CTSVs last year and GM has done that for the last 15 years . I think Chrysler could build 5000 of them for 5 years and all would sell.
Bottom line is there are still enough of us that appreciate and use trucks as trucks that it just might fly.
In the meantime I will driv my Pw. Tires on next weeknd! Only to take them off Again for brake job n the spring
