This winch is new to me. I just put it on the truck a few months ago. It looked like new inside, so it would probably handle a harder pin. This was a lot heavier pull than most of what I will ever be doing. If I keep breaking them, I will probably upgrade.
I am thinking of respooling with 3/8" cable instead of 7/16". I might want to stay with the lighter pins if I do that.
