Why not use nylon straps they are available from some of the farm supply places I use chains to strap things down with I like using the tow straps I got from orselins I hop I spelled that right rated at 65,000lbs better than chains never failed so far. chains not so much luck especially the older ones hard to know what kind of stress or care was used with them.
