The stuff they did for the high altitude mult-bank aircraft engines is amazing. Not saying there was a vacuum assisted fuel pump, but they did a lot of strange things to those engines.
By the way, if it is the fuel pump I think it might be, there are kits available to rebuild them. But, I think they are probably NOS, so I doubt it's worth the time to put them in.
Besides, the pumps with the glass fuel bowl look better.
