Might as well get one from NAPA than VPW. It will look more like the original and probably be cheaper too.

I've gotten a few from NAPA. They work fine, but the last time I got one, they seemed to be in short supply. Maybe, they have gotten more.

The position of the outlet doesn't matter much as the outlet can be easily clocked around by removing the diaphragm screws on top.

A few months ago, I posted a link to a place that was selling the pumps at quite a bit lower price than NAPA. I don't have that link anymore, but I'm sure you can find it like I did by doing a search.

It just doesn't make sense to rebuild them yourself. They are not that expensive and some of them have the diaphragm permanently attached to the rocker are.

I'd also stay away from NOS as they may have diaphragms made of the old material.
