Thank you all for the input. I recently found a '46 WDX and after an initial negotiation over the phone I went to see it. The truck had been sitting out side for a long time but was last tagged in 2000 so I had some hope. The price changed drastically when I got there in person and then there was the issue of no title. Had to pass. So I am continuing the search. I appreciate the advice. I realize that it would be cheaper to buy a restored runner in the first place but this truck is a luxury and not a necessity at this point but I have decided that I will own one in my lifetime and if you don't have a goal, you have nothing. I live by the motto; "You don't know unless you ask" So here I am. There has to be something out there that will work. Thanks again. Glad to be a part of the forum. James. Easton, MD
