Reminds me of my neighbor who used to give his young kids rides around the neighborhood in the bucket of his tractor. One day, he came down with one of his kids in the bucket of the tractor. He's a nice guy and would do anything for you, but I told him to take his tractor off the property. I didn't want to see anybody hurt.

Later, his young kids used to use the tractor as a toy to drive around. Now he's not a farmer or anything and the kids weren't doing anything productive, just playing.

I know that wasn't the situation with you. You were up in one of those lift buckets designed to lift people. What kind of safety mechanism do they have to stop the bucket from dropping when a hose breaks?

Speaking of stats: Farming is one of the most dangerous occupations. Mostly because of the machinery, but also because of animals and chemicals.
