I used both! Modified an old set of rims so I could fee the chains through and then used straps to help keep the wheels in place. Binders and chains can pull the suspension around if they don't have something going the other way. It has worked well for me. I got the straps per Tom Petroff from AWDirect. They also have some nice stuff.
