Exactly my concern. At this point, I have put it back together, and, since it's only a seal around the pto shifter shaft, I will hope that it will work for a while. Meanwhile I am going to search for a double sided seal, since it is really quite easy to replace. Biggest hassel is draining the gear oil and replacing it.
