Nothing unauthorized about it. Satellites and planes are flying over everyday taking photos. If the cops see something illegal on your property while flying overhead they can use that against you.
I'm sure you have googled your property and been surprised by the high resolution photos. And, that's not even the highest resolution available to some satellites, let alone photos taken from airplanes for terrain mapping.
If you live on a paved road, the google cam has probably driven down your street. And, there are backpack mounted google cams walking through rural areas.
Does your computer have a camera in it. Someone may be watching you right now Whoooooo.
