Here's the latest. Took truck to shop had valve job done. When returned I installed the head and new head gasket. Done coppression number 4 came at 90 psi. I desided that was good enough for now. All others came in around 100 psi. Today restarted going over the engine to find why it won't start. Redone compression check, number 4 had droped to 30 psi ???????????????. removed manifolds to check valve adj was okay, rechecked compression number 4 tested at 20 psi. Put oil on top of cylinder 4 redone compression dropped to 15 psi??????????? Seems to me this has to be a valve problem. But that still would not explain why it won't fire uo using starter fluid. Going to remove head one more time remove and relap all valves and re assemble if no Inprovement I quit. Time for a new engine. What say yall.
