I felt much like you, Bill. I didn't have much of a family life as a kid, with both parents working 40 hrs a week. I spent 5 or 6 years living with my grandparents. I developed in my head the idea that my kids were going to be little kids for longer than they were. 4 kids, 2 years apart, it went fast. But they are all happy and successful and not materialistic, and I see them a lot. And I am thankful for every day I am around to be able to see them. Yeah, your house will be quiet, but from some of your posts, I suspect they will come home a lot. :)
