You just won right there, stop while you are ahead. If she wants the truck I'd give it to her, or at least let her use it until you are ready to give it to her.

She's interested in the vehicle and its mechanics. 99% of her peers probably could care less about an old truck you have to fiddle with that smells. I hope my girls want my trucks.

Most of the younger crowd I meet can't understand a vehicle that you have to finesse a throttle and choke while you crank multiple times. It it doesn't start with a push button and drive away immediately it's broken and deserves no respect.

Build her respect for the vehicle and you can create another life long caretaker of a fine piece of history.
