There were three FFPW PTO's used as there were three different transmissions used in the FFPW. The third in the series has the spiral cut gears to go with the later syncro transmissions.
Maybe, the third series PTO one will work since the late FFPW trans and the M37, were basically the same transmission, I think. But, I will leave that part of question up to someone with experience with the M37, since I have none.
