I grew up in So. Cal. in an area where rattle snakes were thick. I ran over one on my motorcycle that was stretched across the trail. He tried to strike, but my legs were above my shoulders by that time. :)
No poisonous snakes where we live in North Idaho. They don't like the climate, I guess. Well, other than lawyers and realtors, that is. Ha Ha
