I understand your need for proof, but what you're forgetting is that with old items like this proof takes time. If you keep hunting around, watching eBay, asking on forums, etc you will eventually find other Fargos for comparison and you can ask the owners what the regulator handle looks like. I've spent years hunting for the answers to certain questions and I still have a long list that I don't have an answer for.

This is not a google question. It is a parts book question and a field research question.
