More weight and the suspension reacts slower to the road because of increased inertia. The rotational forces are also higher.

As Daryl says, it's not much of an issue on our trucks. Go ahead and put those 12.00's on, just keep it below 35 mph.

Or as one car magazine said about bigger wheels and tires: Increased braking distance, slower acceleration, increased suspension wear, rougher ride, increased costs, poorer gas mileage, decreased handling, what's not to like?
