I included instructions with all of my conversions. I've had my OD in my truck for 14 years without a problem. Mack from Texas, Tom Petrof, Doc Dave, Wayne, and many others have had no problems.
Tim likes to talk about how he solved the problem. I sold Tim an OD without the cross members because his truck was a dump with hydraulics in the way (or something like that). I would say that the unit was not lined up the way I told him it had to be lined up because there is no splined shaft there (see previous post).
