Sounds like from the 1910's to 1920's but stuff like that was made into the early 1930's. You are describing a number of vehicle engines from the time period. Look for any castings on the cylinder block and crank case. If no names show up, best thing to find an ID is to get a good digital photo of it and poke around for early truck engines on the internet. Also, that is if it was a truck to start with- there were a lot of early cars converted to trucks by their owners. You'll figure it out if you look around enough.
