you may be right it could be the parents,
but these are 18 year old young men, for them to literally drive a vehicle into the ground after someone give the a gift of selflessness and rebuilds it for them from the ground up, with little to no participation as this was supposed to be a dad and son project but turned out to be a you do it and I'll wright the checks deal, mind you they truly got screwed in the oridgnal purchase of the jeep and with the plea of I want to do this with my sons I opted to do this for free, thats correct not a personal dime was made during this process, perhaps this is why it stings so badly, they got taken advantage of by the creep who sold the jeep I got sold a bill of good and got screwed over in my book,
this kid took it upon himself to knowingly drive this vehicle because he wanted to, even after the do not drive warning, then to drive it to a destination knowing it likely would not make it home and lie to his dad that it was fine so he could drive it in a parade, seriously I think it is more the kid in this case, Dave is a little lenient as he is away with work a lot but that is not an excuse as I was raised in a similar fashion,
this is a lack of respect the kid is so used to everyone doing everything for him that this is simply an inconveiance oh boy he will fix it and oh what do you mean it won't be done for the rally.
I know there are great youth in the U.S. today I honor and cherish them. I just got duped by a rich kid I tell you thought I would and likely do it again for the love of the hobby,
another one saved and on the road safely.
