Yes gears shouldn't be too hard to find, however there is a carrier break according to Yukon Gear at 4:56. Also note there are different offsets to Dana 70s but I think this truck would be just a Dana70 (not a 70HD or 70U). So going from 4:88 to 4:10 will require a different carrier. I believe this truck will be 23 spline axle shafts and you may have trouble finding a 23 spline 4:10 and down carrier since most heavy trucks pre80s were a little underpowered and used low gears. You could probably find a 35 spline carrier and put the 23 spline side gears in but I really don't know. On the rear it wouldn't be hard (expensive yes) to upgrade to newer style 35 spline axle shafts and use a newer carrier again you have to make sure you get the right carrier. The offsets vary and so does the carrier bearing size. I only have experience with later axles and someone else here can probably help you more.

Personally if you are not doing the work yourself by the time you rebuild and regear two axles I think it might be cheaper to install a gear vendors type overdrive and retain the low gears.
