I wish I could permently turn off those sensors. They are a pain with the camper that is always mounted on the truck. The rear camera is removed as I never have the tailgate mounted due to the camper.
However, the loss of both systems doesn't cause any problems hooking up the trailer. I always seem to get it within 6 inches on the first try then with a couple of minor adjustments it's right on. Never have used or needed a camera to hook up a trailer. Not sure why you would want one.
