I'm more concerned with others that are going fast and coming towards me. The 40 mph roads I am forced to take are gravel and I pucker a bit when I see some kid coming towards me at 60mph in a Honda civic with his ball cap on backwards. Seeing that driving on ball bearings when he gets off the hard pack has nothing to do with my speed, or skill. It all boils down to simple physics. Closing velocity.
The 4.89's are for a more civilized RPM at 40mph, and it should allow me the occasional 55mph so I am not a complete moving road block.
I also picked up a pair of lap belts to put in my Dad's 55 Dodge Mayfair 2dr HT. Beautiful car, I'll get pics of that one up to.
FYI, where I live it is flat as a board.
