Well, you are asking for more problems than it's worth, in my opinion. Adding more complexity to the battery cables will just end up causing more problems. I've been down that route.
But since you are asking, I checked my '54 FFPW with my Sun amp/volt tester. The starting draw was 120 amps. The stalled draw was 200 amps. But, the figures are different for each truck depending on many variables including the accuracy of the meter. But, it is about what I expected. YMMV
