There's no real "army surplus" any more. I've got stuff I bought in Seattle when I was a teenager, got at Ft Lewis when they still sold good stuff, and gotten from old guys at ham fairs. The surplus place down in Idaho Falls still has some good stuff in the back if you ever find yourself down that way.

In terms of industrial switches something like this would work, if you put it in a sealed box (plastic outdoor electric wiring box would work) and/or doped it up with non-corrosive RTV
