Not all doors are vent doors. On vent doors the front window track bolts in at the back of the vent window. Those bolts need to be in oval holes in a pressed dimple..
That said, I do plan on doing the swap in that direction, but I will build a dimple die to do the recess. Plan is to use bolts through the pre cut slots to press in the dimples. Dies to be made from layers of 3/16 steel.
Maybe I should make several sets of dies?
