If the valve seats don't have any large gouges or severe rust spots just lap them with the grit paste, "valve lapping compound". If they are really bad, then you should have an engine shop install hardened seats because of the gas issue "unleaded". The cost of a good valve seat cutter would be around the same as all new "pressed in" hardened valve seats. That is something a machine shop should do, as they have the alignment tool, press and seat grinder.

Gil, I read most of your posts, and commend your attempts to do it all your self, but sometimes the machine shops are the way to go. Good luck.
