Harry, thank you!, thank you!, thank you!!! Finally someone has proof about the date of the bellhousing bolt pattern change on the 318A or poly! How about the crank flange, was that changed also? '61 and earlier would have been 8 drilled holes for through bolts; later would have 6 tapped holes, unless truck was different than car.
Did you have to get a different bell and starter, then?
