Between the cost of the equipment and media, and the health risks, noise pollution, neighbor good will, etc., I would recommend taking this to a pro. From what I have seen, a pro can do it for what you will pay in media alone.
I knew a guy that was continually in asbestos dust (ripping lagging from steam pipes on ships). He spent his last years on a oxygen tank gasping for air. Take care to protect yourself now.
