Some old timers may disagree with me, but that sillica is bad bannanas! Even just wearing a hood and respirator w/ HEPA filter is not enough. You almost have to be in a SCBA to be protected. Type in silicosis on your search engine to read more about it. There are many other types of media to use that are far less hazardous. I stripped down a frame with a dewalt grinder and twisted wire wheel (still using a respirator). ccost me 1/2 the price of renting a sandblaster and no mess. Save your lungs brother, they are the only ones you have.
