1969 Dodge D300 Crew Cab “Gunsmoke” $6500

Located in North Central Washington State. Email contact: gil_huguley@ verestar.com

This all-original chassis-cab was delivered to Lundin Farms in 1969. They installed a horse box and assigned the truck to the production crew of the
“Gunsmoke” TV show. Who knows, maybe James Arness rode in this truck as they moved horses from one locat1on to another. I have confirmed that this
truck was actually used by the production crew. I spoke with Rick Lundin who remembers his father purchasing this truck.
The truck has 37,649 miles on the odometer. It has the 383 engine, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Automatic transmission, Air conditioning and limited-slip
differential.

As you can see from the pictures, the truck is very straight. There are NO real dents in the bodywork, only 3 dings that might be parking lot rash. The
interior is perfect with the exception of the headliner. When I purchased the truck it still had the Fingerhut plastic seat covers on. The seats underneath
show NO wear. This truck has no rust with the exception of the lower right air plenum. Floorboards still have all the paint, no surface rust.

When I got the truck it had been sitting inside storage for many years. It had not been properly put up and had two stuck valves. I had the heads reworked
at a professional shop. Hardened valve seats were installed to enable trouble-free use of unleaded gas. The tires had dry rot and I put on 6 new LT265R85
tires.

I really hate to sell this truck, but I have too many projects. I want it to go to a good home—someone who will restore it and take care of it, while appreciating
its unique history. There really isn’t a great deal of work needed to make this a show truck.
