Howdy again.
I recently inquired about a truck and I really don't know what the thing should be worth. Any insights would be greatly appreciated...
It is a 1947 closed cab flatbed. I assume a WDX. It runs and the 4wd works. Has a winch, but apparently the wrong transmission with no PTO output, so the winch isn't working. Not sure if the PTO is still in place. I havn't seen it yet, but I'm expecting it to be pretty rough. Any ideas what such a beast might be worth? Would I be wiser to look for something a little later for parts availability, or would I be OK with that year?
Also, is there any chance that the flatbed is original?
Might any parts from my WC56 truck bolt up (namely the wheels and possibly the tranny), or are they completely different animals? I assume of course that the engines are about the same?
