Kurt, This truck was described to me buy a friend who looked at it several times. I had considered picking it up as the body was to be in good shape and having a lot of it's original equipment still there. A former Civil Defence truck. There was supposed to be a second M-37 that could go with it possibly at another locat1on and a different party that should make up most of what it was missing. I was unclear as to whether this other M-37 would be a separate negotiation or not. By the time he got finished telling me what was missing it sounded like it should have been best described as body and frame only. When I asked about springs I was told that the rears were gone as well as the spring mounts. Well that pretty much settled it for me. To much to do to get a restorable truck together for me. Not to mention a real handling problem with no axles to roll on. So...with or with out the second truck going with the deal it looked like it would wipe out all of my precious inventory of gathered spare parts for my M-37.

It did sound like a doable M-43 and with fairly complete rust free ambulances being rather scarce... I was tempted....But better left to someone with more time and ambition than I. Did you get the second truck thrown in on the deal?

I guess this is what it's all about...Jackson
