Apologies for answering so late!

I don't think I'll be any Dodge-specific help answering this one since the OD went in front of a '78 Ford NP435/NP205 combo...in a '91 Ford F-150.

This tranny has a 6.69 creeper gear, and I also converted the 205 to two-stick operation, so I can use either axle in either Hi or Lo, 2wd or 4wd. Don't worry--the interlocks still work!

The OD is 7.5" long, and expect to do a lot of gearshift lever heating, reshaping, and shortening, both the 4-spd. and the OD.

dc was a lot of help in the 205 overhaul, both in advice and in obtaining idle gear shims--Thanks, guy!

Mike P. @standardtransmission.com. was a lifesaver (talking me through tranny and T-case overhaul)($50.00 for a 435 bearing and seal kit!!!)

Tom Woods at tomwoodscustomdriveshaft.com is an excellent source for 'shafts...he beat local pricing badly, and ate shipping to boot!

This '78 Ford 205 now has a '90-level Cummins-equipped rear output yoke, so it's part Dodge, anyway!

Contact Rob @ extension 214 at Advance Adapters. I bought the OD unit from him, and he was most easy to work with. I think he'd be the guy to talk to re: custom input shaft.

All I have left to do is the console; once that happens, with my daily driver conplete, I can get back to work on the WM-300!

Ed
