I would be able to bolt onto either output. Since it replaces the entire rear bearing carrier, it can be located at either output. If desired it can also be used as the parking brake for trucks that have one mounted behind the TC. It even does Julian Fries!
The bolt patterns are slightly different between the outputs (2 screws are in slighlty different positions) so one housing casting can be used as a blank for either spot. There are a few other differences between locat1ons, but they are very minor, just a matter of tapping a couple holes here vs there really.
