Take it to NAPA, Pep Boys, or Auto Zone and look for a thick copper gasket that will fit in the recess and raise the connection off the cylinder. Both stores or even a hardware store sell different sizes copper gaskets (washers). If you have no luck, contact Traders John's and explain your problem, they should be able to supply that gasket. Don't install it with compensating with a gasket.
