The tech sheets are designed for production shops where they need to get the cars out of the shop as soon as possible to make money.

The reality is that you won't have to cut clear coat if you put it on right (easier said than done) unless you are looking for a show room paint job. With what is probably a thicker paint, I would wait longer for it to cure.

Getting to the paint before it really hardens is probably a good idea for a production shop. I doubt the benefits outweigh the risk for us.
