I have not and will not in the future sand on any of my trucks paint jobs. I dont have the
experience and to sand thru the top coat would be a disaster. I can lay the clear on quite well. When cured I give it a good power buffing with 3M compound and I am very happy. Not a show job, but very presentable.

Shooting paint and sanding/polishing gains experience. But only painting a truck now and then, does not gain that experience. For me, painting is the most stressful thing I can do.
