But those plants were heavily subsidized by the governments of the countries they are being built in, so the cost isn't real, and first they have to pay back the energy cost required to build and install them, then they need to start replacing the coal, gas, and nuclear plants everyone seems to want to go away. THEN maybe after there's a wind turbine in every yard, and solar pannels on every roof we might get there, at least during all those windy days with lots of sunshine. On the dark calm nights you'll need the hydrogen to keep your lights on in the house though.
