These engines don't breath real well, and valve timing is such that horsepower and torque peaks are quite low. I don't think the extra carb would make a big difference, especially if you don't run up the rpms to take advantage of the extra carb.

However, Chrysler did make a dual carb/dual exhaust manifold for the bigger 265 flathead used in bigger trucks...so I guess there was enough benefit to make this worthwhile.
