I went to three different tire shops.

Our vendor for fire engine tires, Goodyear, all they do is truck tires, can't buy car tires from them. He refused to do it cuz the combat rim is a two piece rim. The fat that there was 10 bolts and nuts holding the ring on didn't seem to matter to him. @**hole.

Second was a tractor and farm shop. Nothing. They won't do it either.

Third was just a chain shop. Nope, didn't think they would anyway if the others won't.

The first two shops recommended an on the truck balancer, but didn't know of anyone that does that.

So, those that have said check steering box….. what am i looking for? Nothing is loose, nothing moves.

Im leaning towards two solutions. Tire beads as Vaughn mentioned, or getting two new cylinders and going back to drum brakes all the way round.

Could the offset of the front tires make a difference? I noticed the front lug nuts aren't in as many threads as the rear ones are. This would mean the spacer of Ray's to take the place of the drum is too thick. Could that be it?

I just don't understand, with as many sets of Ray's kits as are out there, why am I having such a problem after installing them. I go back to the weight of the drums, take that weight off and its lighter in the front end, right?
