1947 Dodge Power Wagon
This is one of 3 that I was going to rebuild, but time has caught up with me and I have to let go of some dreams! I learned to recover vehicles in this one here in the Sandia Mountains. Back in the 70’s & 80’s when we had snowy winters, it never failed me.
It’s complete. Was a great runner till I parked it 20 years ago and forgot to pour some oil in the plug holes. Engine won’t turn over. I haven’t tried to force it. I just poured Marvel Mystery Oil in about 3 weeks ago.
The gin poles come off the front bumper as shown and they also set in the rear and there’s a tow sling we used for towing cars into our repair shop.
There’s also an extra rear end and other parts in the back.
