The process is not just to ream the hole, but to do it perpendicular to the valve face. The actual process requires two pieces, one to align the reamer with the guide, the other is the reamer itself.
You should also buy the valve guide refacing grinding stone because you have changed the alignment of the valve tapers and the valve seat.
The good news is that by doing this work yourself, you are saving more cash than the tools cost.
