No but my '97 has 500 000 on it and just thought a fresher engine might be handy to have around. I suppose they will start getting harder to get where they are not all miled out. This one runs good, but the dowel pin came out ( before I got it)and cracked the gear case. I could not see any unhappiness at all ie: chipped gears, marks, nothing. I put my dial indicator on the crank nose and all the gears. Everything was good. It runs cherry, has new clutch, transmission and all new front end parts. I got it really cheap half expecting problems but two years later, so far so good.
