I have a friend here in WA with a V10 Dodge 3500 with auto trans that has that kind of mileage (over 600K) with no rebuilds on engine or trans. He even tows cows around with it some times. mid 90s truck. over the years I have seen many American vehicles with 400 to 500K. all about maintenance and driving habits. I could fry a Toyota in 150K the way I used to drive. I have offroaded with many many Toyotas and the running gear only lasts one season or 2 and its all worn out. where as my wCs never wear the running gear out if maintained. in fact out of every PW and wC I have owned I think only 1 or 2 needed tie rod ends, trunion bushings, or leaf springs. just seals usually.
