Welded disks are a big no-no here and shipping from USA is prohibitive, so I would have to go down the same well worn path if I was going that way. We are allowed to use multi-fit wheels for different stud patterns, so I don't see a problem with re-drilling rotors. Only other issue I can see is making sure the caliper/disk assembly will fit inside the wheels.
