Not a problem. It's just good snug pinion bearings and seal, it's easier to turn the side gears than the pinion, u-joints, t/c seal and bearings. Even more so if the TC is in 4x4.
It's not a broken axle, and front diffs are used so little they seldom wear out.
Now wheels on the ground, and turn the pinion by hand, you have a problem.
