Could be 1941 WC-38 4x2 built on contract for the US Army and was later fitted with 1/2 ton WC 4x4 running gear. Looks to have a single speed Transfer case. The bed is a military WC 1/2 ton with center bow pockets. The 4x2 WC-38 also came with center bow pockets. The WC-38's built for the military do not appear to have come with cowl lights. Would need to get the serial number off the frme to find out for sure.
