I went to the Lyon Air Museum in Orange County, Ca, at the John Wayne Airport today.
It's focused on WWII planes, trucks and motorcycles. Everything in the museum is in first class working condition including a 1941 Command Car.
It's the work of Airforce Major General William Lyon who made a bundle in Orange County real estate. If you are in the area, it's definitely worth a visit.
It's not the biggest museum, but the planes and vehicles are among the best money can buy.
